“Rendez-Vous” / Ann Ray & Lee Alexander McQueen is continuing its tour in the USA, initiated in 2022 in Sacramento, California.

Honorons and celebrating my Dearest Friend Lee Alexander McQueen, the exhibition presents more than 60 photographs, along iconic garments.

Gathering Human Portraits made over 25 years, Ray revisits her approach of human beings - exploring all sorts of techniques through the art of Photography : Analog Photography, Pictorialists’ techniques (Brocoli, cyanotypes, aquatints), hand-painted photographs. Trying to express the “infra mince” and the truth of the souls.

Delighted to take part in this group exhibition devoted to the art of Dance.

Photographs of Dorothée Gilbert, Marie-Agnès Gillot, Hugo Marchand, Nicolas Le Riche, Principal Dancers of Paris Opera & Adam Russell-Jones.

It will be an immense honor to participate to this exhibition in Arles, with several of my photographs belonging to the prestigious Bachelot Collection on display. Furthermore, one of my photographs has been chosen to appear on the invitation card and the official poster of the Museum. You may as well see this image (“Mystères”, 1998) on display in numerous SNCF stations in France. Last but not least, the image will be the cover of the catalogue published by MAISON CF editions.

How exciting and very moving to be back in Arles in such a wonderful way, at the Rencontres d’Arles, 5 years after the exhibition “Les Inachevés”, devoted to my friend Lee Alexander McQueen in Arles 2018.

Opening is on Saturday July 1st 2023, the exhibition lasts until September 24th 2023.

It’s a wonderful feeling to exhibit for the very first time in my native land : in Morgat, Brittany.
